Serbia have finalised their squad for Euro 2024 and they have been using the players from that roster for their warm-up fixtures for the tournament. Player to watch – Alexander Isak
Quicksilver attacker Alexander Isak scored his tenth international goal for Sweden in midweek when he hit what ultimately proved to be a consolation effort against Denmark in midweek and the razor-sharp forward has the right blend of speed and skill to threaten the Serbian defence on Saturday.
Isak is a proven performer
Alexander Isak enjoyed a stunning Premier League campaign for his club Newcastle in 2023/24, scoring a hugely impressive 21 goals in just 30 top-flight appearances for the Magpies. Isak has established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in England’s elite division, though supporters won’t be able to enjoy his sparkling displays at this summer’s Euros.
Sweden failed to qualify for Germany 2024, though Isak will have one more opportunity to wow onlookers this weekend before a well-earned summer break.
