The MHPArena provides the setting for Saturday's headline Bundesliga showdown, with Stuttgart desperate to arrest their slide and Werder Bremen hoping to maintain their impressive run.
Sebastian Hoeness's side have struggled to find consistency at the start of this season, while Daniel Thioune has guided the visitors through an impressive seven-game unbeaten league sequence.
There are also some tasty individual battles to look forward to, not least the potential meeting between the current Bundesliga top scorer Niclas Fullkrug and Stuttgart's Deniz Undav.

Stuttgart have found themselves playing catch-up after a slow opening to the campaign, with Tuesday's 2-0 Champions League defeat against Galatasaray adding to their recent frustrations.
The Swabians have now suffered three defeats in their last six matches, having also come unstuck against Hamburger SV and Borussia Monchengladbach – results that leave them in 11th place with just nine points from eight Bundesliga matches.
Hoeness will be particularly concerned by his team's performances at the MHPArena, where they have gone without a victory since early September.
The situation is becoming increasingly uncomfortable for the Stuttgart boss, with his team sitting just two points above the relegation zone and nine behind the top two, although a 4-0 demolition of Bremen last season offers some encouragement ahead of Saturday.
Unfortunately for the hosts, their midfield options have been severely depleted, with Atakan Karazor highly unlikely to feature, and Angelo Stiller also unavailable. Justin Diehl, Leo Sauer, Josha Vagnoman and Dan-Axel Zagadou are sidelined too.
Werder Bremen, on the other hand, have emerged as one of the Bundesliga's most consistent performers in recent weeks, putting together seven successive league matches without defeat.
Thioune's men will arrive in Stuttgart full of confidence after recording consecutive victories over Mainz and Hoffenheim, with the latter dispatched 2-0 last weekend.
Much of the attention will fall on former West Ham United man Fullkrug, who is currently the Bundesliga's leading scorer. As well as looking to improve his tally, the German striker will have an opportunity to underline his credentials after bagging a spot in Jurgen Klopp's national team.
Bremen's impressive campaign has been built largely on home fortunes, with just two victories from six away matches in all competitions and a particularly worrying 12 goals conceded across their last five trips.
Thioune also has a lengthy absentee list to contend with, as Mitchell Weiser's hamstring injury has added to the problems created by Felix Agu, Skelly Alvero, Paul Erevbenagie, Salim Musah, Moussa N'Diaye, Jens Stage and Keke Topp, although Niklas Stark could provide a welcome boost if he returns to action.

Whispers predicts: Stuttgart 2-2 Werder Bremen
Both teams to score at 2/5 is expected to be a popular pick in the betting given this selection has landed in seven of Stuttgart’s last eight home games.
Over 2.5 goals at 3/10 is another selection which deserves consideration, with eight of Bremen’s previous 10 matches this season producing over 2.5 goals.
In terms of individual selections, backing Niclas Fullkrug to score anytime at 7/4 is also a smart play, given his terrific start to the season.
The correct score market of 2-2 at 11/1 may sound ambitious, though it is worth mentioning that this scoreline landed in two of the previous eight meetings.
