Sporting KC preview: A few absentees
The hosts are in fine form at the moment, recently winning 2-1 away from home against Colorado Rapids, which marked their third victory on the road this season in the top flight. Unbeaten in their last three games, Kerry Zavagnin’s men will be eager to extend their unbeaten run this weekend.
Jacob Davis will be available for this game, having served his one-match ban for two bookable offences in the draw with Real Salt Lake last month, while Jacob Bartlett faces a yellow card suspension this weekend.
On the injury front, Nemanja Radoja, Robert Voloder and Daniel Valencia remain sidelined for the home side.

Seattle Sounders preview: Looking to improve their fortunes on the road
After a miserable campaign in Group B of the FIFA Club World Cup, which ended in three consecutive defeats, Seattle Sounders returned to MLS action with a win and a draw in their last two games.
Diego Rossi opened the scoring for Columbus Crew at Lumen Field last Sunday, before Paul Rothrock restored parity for Seattle two minutes before the break, with the game ending 1-1. The Sounders remain fifth in the Western Conference with 30 points and will seek to get a win this weekend.
Seattle have some injury concerns with Joao Paulo, Stuart Hawkins, Stefan Frei and Paul Arriola being sidelined.
Yeimar Gomez and Kee-hee Kim remain touch and go with fitness issues, while Kalani Kossa-Rienzi faces suspension because of his sending-off during the 1-1 draw with Columbus Crew last time out.
