Brentford vs Man City (1-1)
Despite the whole world waxing lyrical about Man City and how they're going to win the treble, we think they'll drop points in this game and we're backing 1-1. Brentford have seen two of their last five home games end with that scoreline whilst they've scored one goal in three of their past five at home. Man City meanwhile aren't in amazing form on the road with three draws in their last five away games. All of those draws ended 1-1.
Arsenal vs Wolves (2-1)
Arsenal suffered a 3-1 defeat in their last home game but form at the Emirates has been good for the Gunners with them taking 10 points from the last 15 available. In that time they've scored 10 goals, an average of two per game whilst conceding one goal in three of those five matches. Wolves meanwhile have not won any of their last five away games. They've conceded two goals in three of those matches and scored just the solitary goal in three as well.
Man United vs Fulham (2-0)
Man United continued their impressive home form on Thursday night and we think they'll sign off their league campaign with another win here against Fulham. United have averaged 2.2 goals scored across their last five at home with exactly two goals being scored on three occasions. Fulham meanwhile have failed to score in two of their last three away games. United beat them with a two goal cushion in the last head to head too – albeit that game ended 3-1.
Chelsea vs Newcastle (0-2)
This scoreline honestly could be anything but we're backing Newcastle to win 2-0. The Blues have conceded two goals in each of their last four matches at Stamford Bridge whilst Newcastle don't have any issue scoring goals of late. As for the Chelsea ‘nil' part of the prediction, Newcastle boast the best defensive record in the league with Chelsea amongst the most toothless sides; only three sides have scored fewer goals – and two of them could be Championship teams next season!
Leeds vs Tottenham (2-1)
Talking of games that could rack up any possible scoreline, this match up between Leeds and Tottenham is another that falls into that category. Recent form and head to head meetings between these sides suggest this game could go goal crazy, however, Leeds have to win and their best chance of doing that is by being tight and a threat on the counter. We see it largely working in this game and fancy them to beat Spurs. Harry Kane will probably score though.
Southampton vs Liverpool (0-4)
Southampton are already aware that they'll be in the second tier next season and we can't see them signing off in a positive way either. Southampton have failed to score in any of their last three home matches whilst Liverpool have kept three clean sheets in their last four games. That's where the Southampton ‘0' comes from. As for Liverpool, they've averaged 3.6 goals per game across their last three away days hence we've rounded up to 4-0!
Sky Super 6 tips & predictions – overview
If you’ve not come across the Sky Super 6 competition, which takes place on almost a weekly basis, you are in for a treat in this post. The competition is completely free for you to participate in, and winnings can be anything from £250,000 all the way up to £1 million. This doesn’t sound bad for a game that is free to play, right? You are correct!
However, in order to be successful and win any cash, you need to accurately predict the scores for 6 pre-selected matches. As you can imagine, this is incredibly difficult to do, but if you are able to do it, there’s a hefty sum of cash that is available for the winner. As unlikely as it is that you will guess 6 scores correctly, it’s still a super fun competition to take part in every week, and you can even compete with friends and family too.
