Serie A 2026-27 squad values: Every club ranked from Inter Milan to Lecce

The 2026-27 Serie A season was as busy as ever, with clubs across the division strengthening their squads during the summer transfer window, which closed on September 1, giving us a clearer picture of how the division's 20 clubs compare in terms of squad value.

As one of Europe's leading leagues, Serie A boasts a combined squad market valuation of around €5.87 billion at the time of publication, although that figure remains well below the Premier League's €11.3bn total.

While England's top flight benefits from considerable financial strength across the division, Serie A's spending power is more heavily concentrated among its leading clubs.

Inter Milan, Juventus and Como 1907 currently boast the three most valuable squads in Serie A, with Inter standing out at the top of the rankings after assembling a squad worth more than €730m.

Inter Milan lead the way as Juventus and Como complete the top three

Inter Milan have the most valuable squad in Serie A, with their 24 players worth a combined €730.30 million, and their summer recruitment has added further quality to an already impressive group.

The Nerazzurri brought in several new faces during the 2026 summer window, with John Stones, Djed Spence and Curtis Jones arriving from the Premier League, while Manuel Akanji joined on a permanent basis from Manchester City after spending the previous season on loan at Inter, and Aleksandar Stankovic signed from Club Brugge.

All of them were subsequently included in Inter's Champions League squad, underlining the importance of the additions to Cristian Chivu's plans.

Stones and Jones represent the most significant additions in terms of experience, while Spence provides further competition at wing-back and Stankovic offers a younger option in midfield.

Those arrivals have helped Inter maintain their position at the top of the market-value rankings, with their squad worth more than €110m more than second-placed Juventus.

Inter also boast the highest average player value in Serie A at €30.43m, comfortably ahead of Juventus (€22.10m) and Como 1907 (€19.82m), highlighting the quality packed into the league's most valuable squad.

Roma and Milan closely packed in the next tier

While the top three have established a sizeable lead over the chasing pack, there is considerably less separating fourth-placed Roma from AC Milan in fifth, with just €10.25m between the two clubs.

Roma's squad is valued at €484.60m, followed by Milan at €474.35m, while Atalanta (€436.05m) and Napoli (€432.50m) are also within touching distance of the Rossoneri.

Both clubs also strengthened during the summer, with Roma adding the likes of Rodrigo Mora, Santiago Castro and Konstantinos Koulierakis, while Milan brought in Goncalo Ramos as part of their recruitment drive.

That creates a particularly competitive section of the table, with only €52.10m separating fourth and seventh place despite the four clubs having very different squad sizes.

Atalanta's valuation is particularly notable given that they have just 24 players, the joint-smallest squad in the division alongside Inter, while Napoli have three more players but a slightly lower average player value of €16.02m.

Lazio's large squad contrasts with modest average value

Further down the rankings, Lazio provide one of the more striking contrasts in the data, with their 33-man squad ranking among the largest in Serie A but their €7.39m average player value placing them well below the leading clubs.

Lazio were also one of the busier clubs in the summer window, making 10 additions, including Davide Frattesi and Josip Sutalo on loan, while Andrea Pinamonti joined on a permanent basis and Albert Gudmundsson arrived from Fiorentina on loan.

Only Sassuolo, Venezia, Frosinone and Lecce have larger squads, with Lazio's 33 players combining for a total market value of €243.85m, enough to put them ninth overall.

The disparity becomes even clearer when compared with Atalanta, who have nine fewer players but a squad worth almost €192m more, while their average player value of €18.17m is more than double Lazio's figure.

It underlines how squad size does not necessarily translate into greater market value, with Lazio's relatively large group of players still sitting comfortably outside the division's top eight.

Lecce, Frosinone among least valuable Serie A squads

At the other end of the table, Lecce have the lowest squad valuation in Serie A at €82.50m, with Frosinone (€94.45m) and Monza (€103.45m) the only other clubs below the €105m mark.

Lecce's squad is also one of the division's largest at 34 players, meaning their low overall valuation is reflected in an average player value of just €2.43m, the lowest figure in the league.

Venezia sit slightly higher at €118.95m despite having the largest squad in Serie A, with 38 players, while Cagliari (€120.70m) and Parma (€149.23m) complete a relatively tightly packed group towards the bottom of the rankings.

With Inter's €730.30m squad worth almost nine times as much as Lecce's, the figures highlight the considerable financial and market-value divide between the leading sides and those operating towards the bottom of Serie A.
