Barcelona continue their pre-season tour of Asia with a friendly against K League 1 side FC Seoul on Thursday. The reigning La Liga champions beat J1 League Vissel Kobe, who are currently top of their division, 3-1 last time out.
Seoul are also midway through their own campaign, and currently stand in fourth place in the South Korean top flight. They most recently beat Daejeon 1-0 away from home last time out.

Seoul vs Barcelona prediction: Barca should be too strong
Key stats
- Seoul have lost two of their last four games in total in all competitions.
- Barcelona have won four of their previous five matches across all competitions.
- Barcelona have scored 2+ goals over their last nine games in all competitions.
Correct score prediction: Seoul 0-4 Barcelona
Barcelona are heavy favourites to win this one given the gulf in quality between the two sides, and so it may just be a matter of how many they can score. We also fancy them to keep a clean sheet, given that they have done so in two of their previous three victories.
Pre-game odds and win probability: Barcelona big favourites with bookmakers
- HOME: 12/1 (13.00) – 7.7%
- DRAW: 11/2 (6.50) – 15.4%
- AWAY: 1/7 (1.14) – 87.5%
*odds from Paddy Power, subject to change
As shown by the implied probabilities, Barcelona are big favourites to claim victory, while a draw can be backed at just over a 15% chance. Seoul are very much the underdogs, as reflected by their under 8% chance of winning.

Player to watch: Marcus Rashford

All eyes will be on Marcus Rashford to see if he makes his debut for Barcelona against Seoul. The Manchester United loanee will want to prove that he can still perform at the highest level, and could well be a welcome addition to the side given the quality and experience that he undoubtedly possesses.
