🔥 Our Hot tip

Scotland to win & Over 3.5 total goals

Belarus have conceded 13 goals in three qualifiers.

Scotland will be aiming to make it back-to-back wins in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying when they prepare to welcome Belarus to Hampden Park on Sunday evening. Indeed, the Scots sealed a big 3-1 victory at home to Greece last time out, which has increased their chances of qualifying for a first World Cup this century.

Meanwhile, Belarus were thumped 6-0 at home by Denmark, and so remain pointless at the bottom of Group C. The visitors will be underdogs once again when they travel to Scotland.

Scotland vs Belarus prediction: Scots to seal successive wins?

Key stats

  • Scotland are unbeaten in four games in total in all competitions, winning three of them.
  • Belarus are on a four-match losing streak across all competitions.
  • Belarus have only won once in five previous H2Hs.

Correct score prediction: Scotland 4-0 Belarus

Scotland should be the overwhelming favourites here given the sheer gap in quality between the two sides, at least that is what the official FIFA world rankings say with a 57-place disparity. Nonetheless, with the home crowd to roar them on once more, we should see plenty of goals too for the Scots.

Pre-game odds and win probability: Scotland strong favourites with bookmakers

  • HOME: 1/8 (1.13) – 88.9%
  • DRAW: 15/2 (8.50) – 11.8%
  • AWAY: 22/1 (23.00) – 4.3%

*odds from Ladbrokes, subject to change

As shown by the implied probabilities, Scotland are unsurprisingly the strong favourites with bookmakers to claim all three points on home soil. A draw can be backed at just under 12%, while a rare Belarus victory on their travels is rated at just over 4%.
