Sandefjord return to Norwegian Eliteserien action for the first time since late May on Sunday with the hopes of igniting their campaign.
After a fifth-placed finish last time around, the Guttane currently sit eighth having managed just 14 points from their first 11 matches, winning four and losing five of those while only strugglers Rosenborg have scored fewer than their 10 goals.
While they do boast one of the division's weaker home records, Andreas Tegstrom's side are now unbeaten in four games at the Jotun Arena, having recorded back-to-back wins in May and most recenlty drawn 1-1 with Fredrikstad.
A tough trip to Molde then followed that last draw in the final game before the break, and the Guttane fell to their fifth defeat of the campaign, losing 2-1 having failed to find a leveller after Sebastian Mathisen.
Now keen to build on their slow start and climb towards the right end of the Eliteserien, Sandefjord will hope for a fresh start in their first game back at the weekend and extend their home run with a victory.
They face a tough test, though, as the visitors arrive in strong form with the top four in their sights.
Following an 11th-placed finish last season, HamKam currently sit sixth in Norway's top flight with a game in hand on most sides around them, having earned 17 points from their opening 10 outings with five wins on the board.
They headed into the break in a run of four wins, two draws and a defeat in seven matches, before drawing with Fredrikstad and beating Swedish outfit Goteborg in friendlies.
Kamma's struggles have come away from home, though, drawing two and losing two of their four games on the road while conceding nine goals, most recently drawing 2-2 away at Aelesund having led 2-1 through Markus Johnsgard and Martin Gjone.
HamKam now return to action with just a two-point gap to fourth spot and a game in hand and will bid to continue their positive streak and record a first away league win at the fifth time of asking.
