FC Iberia 1999 to qualify

Iberia already hold a narrow aggregate advantage and have a strong record at home this season, losing just one of their 10 league matches at the David Petriashvili Stadium.

Meeting for the second time in under a week, FC Iberia 1999, formerly known as Saburtalo Tbilisi, welcome Flora to the Georgian capital for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League first qualifying round tie.

The Red Eagles claimed a 3-2 victory in Estonia last week and know another win would set up a second qualifying round clash with Slovan Bratislava.

Both sides have had a full week to prepare for the second leg, with neither club involved in domestic action since last Tuesday's entertaining first meeting.

New Iberia head coach Andriy Demchenko only took charge last month and has inherited a side chasing a third consecutive Erovnuli Liga title, although his start has been mixed despite last week's victory in Estonia.

The Red Eagles have won just two of their last five league fixtures and also suffered a Georgian Super Cup semi-final exit on penalties against Torpedo Kutaisi, but they remain top of the table with a two-point lead over FC Rustavi after 19 matches.

However, they do remain top of the table a game after the league has passed the halfway stage and have a two-point cushion on FC Rustavi in second.

European progression would represent another significant milestone for the Georgian champions, who have never advanced beyond the second qualifying round after previous eliminations against Dinamo Zagreb and Malmo.

Flora, meanwhile, arrive in Tbilisi needing to overturn a one-goal deficit if they are to keep their Champions League hopes alive, with the Estonian champions also still searching for a first appearance beyond the second qualifying round.

Konstantin Vassiljev's side also have work to do domestically, sitting second in the Meistriliiga but already 10 points behind leaders Levadia, albeit with a game in hand.

Their task has been made even more difficult by the suspension of defender Airon Kollo, who was sent off in the closing stages of the first leg and will force the visitors into at least one defensive change on Tuesday night.

Whispers predicts: FC Iberia 1999 2-1 Flora

We expect another entertaining encounter in Tbilisi, with Iberia's defensive strength making them slight favourites but Flora's need to chase the game likely to create opportunities at both ends.

Both teams to score is priced at 4/6, while over 2.5 goals is available at 3/5, and with Iberia already holding a 3-2 advantage, we are backing another narrow win for the hosts with a 2-1 scoreline priced at 8/1.

Amiran Dzagania is Iberia's top scorer this season with five goals and could be worth considering in the goalscorer market if he returns to the starting lineup, although he has started any of the last three matches.
