Real Madrid are coming off a dramatic 4-3 comeback win against Roma in the UEFA Champions League. Despite trailing by two goals with less than 10 minutes remaining, they staged a remarkable late rally, scoring three unanswered goals to snatch victory from the brink of defeat.
Jose Mourinho's troops have now won eight of their 10 matches across all competitions this season, with two losses.
Interestingly, both defeats have come on the road, and Los Blancos have had a perfect five wins from five at the Bernabeu in all competitions. The hosts have also not lost a home game in this competition since the first week of March.
Having lost two of their eight La Liga fixtures, Real Madrid are fourth in the Spanish top flight at the time of writing, six points behind leaders Barcelona.
Rodrygo Goes (knee) remains sidelined alongside defenders Ferland Mendy (hip), Raul Asencio (leg), and Eder Militao (thigh). Vinicius Junior will begin the first of his four-match suspension this Sunday, with the Brazilian receiving an elongated suspension for a violent reaction against the referee during last weekend's victory over Villarreal.
In Vinicius' absence, Yan Diomande will get the opportunity to feature on the left flank, while Arda Guler starts on the right wing. Dean Huijsen, who served his suspension last weekend, could partner Ibrahima Konate in central defence.
On the other hand, Sevilla were held to a 3-3 draw by Levante in their last league outing. The Andalusian side squandered an early two-goal cushion before regaining the lead deep in added time, only to be denied all three points by a dramatic 90+10th minute equaliser.
With that in mind, Luis Garcia's men have now conceded exactly three goals in each of their last three matches in all competitions, with no wins during that stretch.
On the positive side, the visitors are unbeaten on the road this season (W2, D2). They will be without the injured Marcao (muscle), Jon Guridi (adductor), and Miguel Sierra (shoulder), while Isaac Romero is suspended for a red card picked up in the thrilling draw against Levante.
Sevilla have had a poor track record against Real Madrid, having lost five consecutive clashes between these teams, with no wins in the last 15 H2Hs (D2, L13). Moreover, the last time Sevilla defeated Real Madrid at this stadium was in December 2008.

Priced at 1/4 (1.25), Real Madrid are considered favourites by the bookmakers ahead of this skirmish.
Both teams are on opposite sides in terms of recent form, and considering Los Blancos' dominance in this fixture, anything other than a comfortable victory for the hosts would be surprising.
Five of Real Madrid's last six matches and eight of Sevilla's last 10 games featured goals at both ends, and this can be backed at 9/10 (1.90).
We also fancy a 4-1 correct score at 14/1 (15.00).Los Blancos have scored exactly four goals in four of their last five home games in this competition, and two of their last four home league games ended with this scoreline.
