Four of Real Betis' last five matches have gone above the 4.5-card threshold.

An interesting fixture is on the cards as Real Betis host Feyenoord at Estadio de la Cartuja in the league phase of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

The hosts will be eyeing a return to winning ways after a disappointing 5-2 home defeat against Barcelona over the weekend.

Feyenoord, meanwhile, will set their sights on extending their winning streak.

Real Betis' seven-game unbeaten run ended over the weekend as they were beaten 5-2 at home by Barcelona.

Despite that defeat, the Andalusian side have been impressive at Estadio de la Cartuja this season, having won five of their six matches played at this stadium.

In the Champions League, Manuel Pellegrini's troops have had a perfect start, beating Lille and Porto by identical 3-2 scores. At the time of writing, they are currently ninth and the only team with maximum points outside the automatic round of 16 spots.

Top striker Cucho Hernandez (calf) and defender Junior Firpo (muscle) are both ruled out for Betis. After resting key players against Barcelona, Pellegrini is set to bring Antony, Marc Bartra, Natan, and Isco back into the starting XI, with Troy Parrott likely starting up front in Hernandez's absence.

Feyenoord, on the other hand, are coming off a hard-fought 4-3 away win against Telstar in the Dutch top flight.

The Eredivisie leaders have strung together five consecutive wins and have been difficult to beat, having lost only once in their last 25 matches across all competitions, stretching back to the previous season.

However, that lone defeat came in the Champions League, when they were beaten 5-1 by Barcelona on the road in their opening game. Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side have since improved their fortunes, beating Como 3-2 at home in their second UCL fixture.

As they go up against a La Liga side on the road for the second time this season, Feyenoord will be without Australian defender Jordan Bos (knee) and Arsenal loanee Reiss Nelson (muscular).

This will be the second encounter between these outfits. They previously clashed at this stadium in the league phase of the Europa League last season, with Betis emerging as 2-1 victors.

Priced at 3/5 (1.60), Real Betis are considered favourites by the bookmakers ahead of this skirmish.

The hosts have had an impressive run of results at home, and having beaten Feyenoord at this stadium last season, we are confident that they will claim all the spoils here.

Nine of Feyenoord's last 10 outings have gone above the 3.5-goal line, and this can be backed at 10/11 (1.91). If you plan on taking this angle, applying a Betfred promo code during registration is an easy way to grab extra bonuses.

We also fancy BTTS – Yes at 1/2 (1.50), as was the case in six of the hosts' last seven fixtures.
