Heerenveen preview: Back to winning ways

Heerenveen put in a very good performance at home to AZ Alkmaar at the weekend, making a return to winning ways after going six games in all competitions without a victory.

Teenager Milos Lukovic opened the scoring after just five minutes with his second league goal of the campaign and a goal from Moroccan forward Ilias Sebaoui put the home side 2-0 up just before the hour mark. AZ did pull a goal back but an effort from Marcus Linday restored Heerenveen's two-goal cushion deep into stoppage-time.

Midfielder Luuk Brouwers, forward Jacob Trenskow and defender Pawel Bochniewicz could all miss the trip to Eindhoven due to injury.

Predicted lineup: Noppert (GK), Kohlert, Kersten, Hopland, Braude, Linday, Smans, van Ee, Jahanbakhsh, Sebaoui & Lukovic
