🔥 Our Hot tip

PSG (-1)

The Champions League holders have won the Super Cup in 11 of the last 12 seasons.

Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain and Europa League champions Tottenham Hotspur will get the European club season underway when they face off in the UEFA Super Cup in Udine on Wednesday night. View our betting tips for the encounter below.

PSG vs Tottenham Hotspur prediction: Champions League holders to cruise to victory

Key Stats

  • Five of Spurs’ last six competitive losses have come via a two-goal margin or greater.
  • All of PSG’s last seven wins have been accompanied by a clean sheet, and they have scored 24 goals across those games.
  • PSG have played eight matches against English clubs in 2025, winning five.
  • Spurs only won two of their six pre-season friendlies, and lost their previous encounter 4-0 to Bayern Munich.

Correct score prediction: PSG 3-0 Tottenham Hotspur

Even though Spurs were victorious in the Europa League last season, these two clubs were at completely different levels during 2024-25, as PSG conquered all who stood before them, while the Lilywhites finished 17th in the Premier League.

With a ruthless attacking trio at their disposal, and two of the world’s greatest full-backs, PSG could put Spurs to the sword if they are at full throttle.

Pre-game odds and win probability: PSG the clear favourites

  • HOME: 4/9 (1.44) – 69.2%
  • DRAW: 19/5 (4.80) – 20.8%
  • AWAY: 5/1 (6.00) – 16.7%

*odds from Ladbrokes, subject to change

The bookies agree with our prediction, as PSG are big favourites to win, being priced at 4/9 to win in 90 minutes, and 1/4 to lift the trophy at the end of the night.

Lengthening the odds provides some value, as PSG (-1) is a generous 11/10, while a win to nil, something PSG have managed in their last seven wins, is 7/4.

PSG will be without Joao Neves due to suspension after he was sent off in the Club World Cup final last month, but Willian Pacho is available again to start at centre-back.

With Gianluigi Donnarumma’s future at the club uncertain, Lucas Chevalier has been brought in to potentially fill the void, and he could make his debut here.

Player to watch: Ousmane Dembele

After an extraordinary season that exploded into life at the start of 2025, Ballon d’Or favourite Ousmane Dembele will be the man Spurs must keep quiet in Udine.

The French international scored 35 goals across all competitions last season, taking the limelight despite being joined in attack by the also-impressive pair of Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
