Girona preview: Hit and miss so far this season
Girona enjoyed a stunning 2023/24 campaign but the start of the new season has already had its ups and downs.
Míchel Sanchez's side started out with a draw at Betis which was followed up by a 3-0 defeat at Atletico Madrid. However, back-to-back wins against Osasuna and Sevilla followed before last weekend's 4-1 home defeat at the hands of Barcelona.
Yangel Herrera, Jastin García and Ricard Artero all look set to miss the trip to the French capital due to injury.
Predicted lineup: Gazzaniga (GK), Blind, Lopez, Gutierrez, Frances, Martin, Solis, Tsyhankov, Danjuma, Ruiz & Gil

Player to watch: Bradley Barcola
Bradley Barcola probably wasn't seen as many as the natural replacement for Kylian Mbappe after the forward only scored five goals in 39 appearances for the French giants last season.
However, the former Lyon striker has been handed a starting role due to the injury to Goncalo Ramos and the 22-year-old has repaid his manager with four goals in the club's opening four league games.
Attempting to fill the void left by Kylian Mbappe
We're excited to see how Barcola performs in the Champions League on Wednesday now that he is full of confidence and starting games for Luis Enrique's side.
