Pisa's first season in Serie A in 34 years has sadly gone the way that most people in Italy were expecting, with I Torri rock bottom of the division with little chance of survival as the season draws to a close.

Miracles can happen in football, but there are no guarantees that six wins from their final six matches would even be enough, and preparations are almost certainly underway for life back in Serie B.

Oscar Hiljemark was parachuted in back in February to try to rescue the club, but the Swede has only managed to record one win in his nine matches in charge, meaning there are now doubts around whether he will be kept on over the summer.

Thinking only about Sunday, Hilkemark will welcome Marius Marin back into his squad, leaving Daniel Denoon as the club's only injury absentee.

As for Genoa, a similar fate was awaiting them until they kicked into gear at the end of February.

A run of four wins from their last seven league outings has seen them crawl up the table to the point now where they are more than likely just a couple more points away from securing their place in the top flight for next season.

Given Pisa's league position, manager Daniele De Rossi will see this fixture as a perfect opportunity to pick up another big three points, although he will be wary about how his team struggled in the reverse fixture.

On Sunday, De Rossi will be without Mikael Ellertsson due to suspension after his fight with Sassuolo's Domenico Berardi last weekend. Ruslan Malinovskyi and Morten Frendrup are also suspended, while Maxwel Cornet is injured.

Whispers predicts: Pisa 0-1 Genoa

Due to the contrasting form of the two sides coming into this weekend, it's impossible to look beyond an away win. Genoa to win has been priced at 27/20.

None of Genoa's last four away matches have produced more than two goals. Under 2.5 goals has been remarkably priced at 4/7.

Lorenzo Colombo needs just one more goal to record his best-ever Serie A goals tally. Colombo is priced at 5/2 to score anytime on Sunday.
