Philadelphia Union preview: Plagued by injuries
Things are not going well for Philadelphia Union on the injury front, as they will play the rest of June and perhaps the early part of July without four of their starters: goalkeeper Andre Blake, center-back Nathan Harriel, defensive midfielder Danley Jean Jacques, and attacking midfielder Quinn Sullivan.
On top of that, Union's top two strikers – Tai Baribo, the league's top scorer (13 goals), and Mikael Urhe, remain sidelined with injuries. Centre-backs Ian Glavinovich and Neil Pierre are also ruled out with knee injuries.
Despite the many injuries, coach Bradley Carnell will likely go with his preferred 4-4-2 system which he has used mostly this season, with Chris Donovan and Bruno Damiani upfront.
Predicted lineup: Rick (GK), Wagner, Makhanya, Glesnes, Westfield, Vassilev, Lukic, Bueno, Bender, Donovan & Damiani.

Charlotte FC preview: A few absentees
Charlotte, meanwhile, have four players sidelined with injuries, including Nimfasha Berchimas (foot), Brandon Cambridge (muscle), Jahlane Forbes (muscle), and Nathan Byrne (neck).
At risk of suspension, Ashley Westwood and Adilson Malanda are one yellow card away, having already accumulated four.
While Dean Smith's men lost five of six league matches in May, they started June on a good note with a victory over Toronto. However, against Union this weekend, they will have to be at their best to claim all three points and strengthen their position in the playoff race.
Predicted lineup: Bingham (GK), Doumbia, Privett, Malanda, Marshall-Rutty, Bronico, Westwood, Abada, Biel, Zaha & Agyemang.
