🔥 Our Hot tip

Under 2.5 goals

Each of Parma's last six matches has produced under 2.5 goals.

AS Roma will continue their push for Champions League qualification when they travel to Stadio Ennio Tardini to face Parma in Serie A on Sunday evening.

Parma sit 13th in the table with 42 points from 35 matches, seven adrift of 10th-placed Sassuolo, and breaking into the top half appears a difficult challenge with only three games remaining.

The Giallorossi, meanwhile, are right in the thick of an intense top-four battle, having reduced the gap to fourth-placed Juventus to just one point. Sitting fifth, Roma have a golden opportunity to climb into the Champions League places this weekend if other results also fall in their favour.

Inter Milan have been crowned champions, and both Napoli and AC Milan set to occupy the next two positions comfortably. This leaves the fourth spot open and anyone of Juventus, Roma and Como can clinch the spot in the remaining few matches.

After Juventus and Como drew their respective games last week, Roma took advantage and closed the gap with the Old Lady to just one point after beating Fiorentina 4-0.

Roma have now picked up three wins from four games, and will look to make it three wins in a row before their Derby della Capitale clash against Lazio in the Serie A.

Evan Ferguson is out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury, while the likes of Lorenzo Pellegrini, Bryan Zaragoza and Artem Dovbyk are still unavailable.

Since returning to Serie A, Parma have lost all three meetings with Roma, and they face another stern test against Gian Piero Gasperini’s in-form side.

The hosts enjoyed an impressive April, going unbeaten across four Serie A matches and winning two of them, which briefly lifted optimism around their campaign.

That momentum, however, came to an abrupt halt earlier this month with a 2-0 defeat to Inter Milan in their most recent outing.

Parma have managed only four home wins in Serie A this season, but they still have the chance to deal a significant blow to Roma’s Champions League ambitions if they can at least grind out a draw.

Whispers predicts: Parma 0-2 Roma

AS Roma remain firmly in the hunt for Champions League qualification and head into this fixture after winning three of their last four matches, which explains why the Giallorossi are priced at 8/15 to collect all three points against Parma.

Fewer than three goals have been scored in each of Parma’s last six matches, making under 2.5 goals at 4/5 an appealing betting angle in what could be a tight contest.

Parma have struggled defensively in recent meetings with Roma, while the capital club have kept clean sheets in three of their last four outings, which makes a Roma win with BTTS – No at 13/10 another strong possibility.
