🔥 Our Hot tip

Both Teams to Score

Both teams have scored in 11 of PSG's last 16 Champions League matches

Premier League winners Arsenal have the chance to cement their place in European history on Saturday by claiming their first ever Champions League trophy at Puskas Arena, but they face the unenviable task of trying to get the better of Paris Saint-Germain.

Reigning European champions PSG defeated Bayern Munich in the semi-finals, coming out on top as 6-5 victors, whereas Arsenal's path to Hungary was less dramatic given they emerged as 2-1 winners against Atletico Madrid in the previous round.

PSG enter the final as reigning champions of Europe, and though they may find it difficult to replicate their 5-0 rout of Inter Milan from last season's final, their attacking firepower will still be difficult to contain.

Luis Enrique's men emerged as 6-5 winners against Bayern Munich in the semi-final in what was one of the greatest two-legged ties in Champions League history, with the French side winning 5-4 in the first leg at home.

The Parisiens have not been flawless at the back given they have conceded at least twice in four of their knockout matches, though their immense defensive display away to Bayern was enough to earn a 1-1 draw, and it proved that they can soak up pressure when they need to.

PSG were crowned Ligue 1 champions on May 13, and that represented their 12th title in 14 seasons, and their achievement this term was made even more impressive considering several of their stars played a limited role in the French top flight.

Bradley Barcola could be the forward to miss out on a place in the starting XI this weekend, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue the most likely trio to feature in attack.

Regardless of the outcome on Saturday, Arsenal will have enjoyed their best season in 22 years, with their Premier League drought having finally ended thanks to an impressive period of form in the final stretch of the campaign.

Following their 2-1 loss against Manchester City on April 19, the Gunners avoided defeat in all competitions, with the club winning six matches and drawing one game, a 1-1 stalemate away to Atletico Madrid on April 29.

Mikel Arteta's side have built their success on the back of a strong defence, and their style contrasts significantly with that of Saturday's opponents, which could make their seventh meeting a fascinating contest.

A victory for the English club would move them ahead of PSG in the head-to-head bracket, but it would also be their first victory against them in three attempts given they lost both encounters in their semi-final clash in 2024-25.

Arteta rested numerous first-team players against Crystal Palace on May 24, but perhaps the toughest choice he will have is in the striker position, with Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres both vying for a starting spot.

Arsenal have relied on physicality and intensity this season, an approach that they are almost certain to use against PSG, and that could suit Havertz more than the Gyokeres.

Whispers predicts: Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Arsenal

Arsenal have never won the Champions League, and they may find it difficult to cope with the occasion on Saturday, so it may make sense to back PSG at 11/8.

The match itself is likely to be closely fought, and given PSG have been vulnerable defensively despite their offensive prowess, backing Both Teams to Score at 3/4 would be sensible.

Enrique's men will be encountering a strong defence, but they have been exceptional going forward, and there is value in predicting Over 1.5 Goals for PSG, priced at 5/4.

Conceding more than once could be fatal for the Gunners considering they have rarely found the back of the net twice in the knockouts, meaning a prediction of Under 1.5 Goals for Arsenal – priced at 2/5 – may be the way to go.

📈 PSG vs. Arsenal — Whispers' Tips

> Both Teams to Score at 3/4 (1.75) | Likelihood: Probable

> PSG to Score Over 1.5 Goals 5/4 (2.25) | Likelihood: Possible

> Arsenal to Score Under 1.5 Goals at 2/5 (1.4) | Likelihood: Possible
