Each of the last four meetings between Paris FC and Le Havre have finished all square.

Paris FC will take on Le Havre on Sunday, 22 March, with both sides looking to push further away from the Ligue 1 bottom three.

As things stand, Paris FC have a nine-point cushion to play with, and Le Havre have an eight-point buffer, so the threat of relegation isn't as severe as it once was for either side. However, neither manager will consider themselves out of the woods just yet.

Paris FC will be pleased with how they have fared in their first season back in Ligue 1 since 1979, with survival the aim throughout.

Les Bleus don't need many more points now to guarantee their position in the top flight for another season, and they have been ticking along nicely in recent weeks, losing just one of their last eight league matches.

They've put themselves in a position where draws will be enough to get them where they want to end up, so the fact that six of those eight matches finished all square isn't a huge problem.

🔍 Whispers Insight

Paris FC have drawn their last 5 matches against Le Havre in all competitions.

For the match with Le Havre, manager Antoine Kombouare will be able to count on the services of Marshal Munetsi and Rudy Matondo following their returns from injury. However, Samir Chergui, Vincent Marchetti, Tuomas Ollila, Pierre-Yves Hamel and Ilan Kebbal are all still in the treatment room.

As for Le Havre, the situation at the bottom of Ligue 1 is perhaps a tad more concerning.

Le Club Doyen, who have been a part of the top flight now since 2023, have lost three of their last four matches, which has dragged them down to 14th. Another defeat here could see them drop to 15th if other results go their way.

🔍 Whispers Insight

Le Havre have failed to score in six of their last eight matches.

This is where the club has finished in each of their two seasons in Ligue 1 since promotion in 2023, and although the hierarchy will be pleased with survival, the lack of progress under Dider Digard could force them into a decision this summer.

Digard will be able to call upon the services of Loic Nego for this one, but is without Abdoulaye Toure, Simon Ebonog and Gautier Lloris due to injuries, and Stephan Zagadou and Yanis Zouaoui due to suspension.
