Olympiacos' summer objective of reaching the Champions League group stage unravelled against NEC Nijmegen when they lost 2-1 on aggregate and Alguacil's side now find themselves needing to regroup quickly in the Europa League after a difficult few days that also included a shock domestic reverse.
