Northern Ireland vs Germany prediction, odds & betting tips 13/10/2025
🔥 Our Hot tip

Northern Ireland +1.5 handicap

Northern Ireland have lost any of their last 24 home matches by a margin of two goals or more.

Northern Ireland will take on Germany in a World Cup qualifying match on Monday, 13 October, in a huge match in the race to Canada, Mexico and the USA.

Both sides are currently locked together on six points after three matches played in Group A, with Slovakia also tied on the same tally.

A win for either side on Monday would be huge, while a defeat would likely see whoever loses fall three points behind the top two, with Slovakia scheduled to play Luxembourg.

Northern Ireland preview: Huge player misses out

One of Northern Ireland's best players, Conor Bradley, will miss the match on Monday night after the Liverpool full-back breached the yellow card threshold in the match against Slovakia on Friday night. Brodie Spencer is expected to come in for Bradley, in what is expected to be the only change.

Predicted lineup: Peacock-Farrell (GK), Hume, McNair, Toal, Spencer, McCann, Charles, Devenny, Galbraith, Price, Reid

Last five results

  • Northern Ireland 2-0 Slovakia
  • Germany 3-1 Northern Ireland
  • Luxembourg 1-3 Northern Ireland
  • Northern Ireland 1-0 Iceland
  • Denmark 2-1 Northern Ireland

Germany preview: Several players missing

While losing Bradley is a blow for Michael O'Neill, he will gain no sympathy from Julian Nagelsmann, who is without several important players for this one, including Jamal Musiala, Kai Havertz and Antonio Rudiger. Nico Schlotterback is a doubt after being forced off at half-time on Friday.

Predicted lineup: Baumann (GK), Kimmich, Anton, Tah, Raum, Pavlovic, Goretzka, Adeyemi, Gnabry, Wirtz, Woltemade

Last five results

  • Germany 4-0 Luxembourg
  • Germany 3-1 Northern Ireland
  • Slovakia 2-0 Germany
  • Germany 0-2 France
  • Germany 1-2 Portugal

Player to watch: Nick Woltemade

After failing to get on the scoresheet against Luxembourg, Nick Woltemade is still searching for his first international goal, but there is no better time for him to break his duck than on Monday night. The Newcastle striker very much needs to prove himself while Havertz and Musiala are unavailable.
