Real Madrid vs Napoli lineups and latest team news
Real Madrid
Carlo Ancelotti, in what looks set to be his final season as Real Madrid boss, has adopted a new system this year which has been working wonders for his team. The system allows Jude Bellingham to operate in a free role behind the two strikers and to say he is thriving would be an understatement.
Ancelotti does have several injuries at the minute though which may make him rethink the system. Eduardo Camavinga and Aurélien Tchouaméni are both missing in midfield while star man, Vinicius Jr has pulled his hamstring.
Predicted lineup
Kepa – Carvajal, Alaba, Rudiger, Mendy – Modric, Kroos, Valverde , Bellingham – Joselu, Rodrygo
Napoli
Napoli boss, Walter Mazzarri, oversaw his first game as manager at the weekend with his side running out 2-1 winners against Atalanta. It wasn't all good news for Mazzarri though as full-back Mathias Olivera was forced off with an injury. The Uruguayan joins Jesper Lindstrom and Mario Rui on the treatment table.
One huge boost for Napoli is the return to fitness of striker, Victor Osimhen, who came off the bench at the weekend against Atalana. He will lead the line for the Italian side and will look to re-engage his stunning partnership with Kvaratskhelia.
Predicted lineup
Meret – Jesus, Østigård, Rrahmani, Di Lorenzo – Zielinski, Lobotka, Anguissa – Kvaratskhelia, Osimhen, Politano
Starting lineups
The starting lineups will be announced an hour before kick off.

Player to watch: Jude Bellingham
We are running out of words to describe just how impressive Jude Bellingham has been in a Real Madrid shirt this season and the number five will be Los Blancos' main man on Wednesday. Bellingham recently picked up the Golden Boy award and his goal at the weekend meant he is the quickest player to reach 15 goals in Real Madrid's history.
