Morocco have established themselves as one of the best nations in world football, ranking as high as eighth in the official FIFA world rankings.
They have qualified for their seventh World Cup, and became the first African nation to reach the semi-final in 2022.
Morocco have scored 3+ goals in three of their last five games.
Building on from that, the Atlas Lions went on an 19-game winning run in all competitions in 2025, setting a new record for international football.
Mohamed Ouahbi is in charge these days and is unbeaten after four games as manager (W3, D1), and will be hoping to extend that against Norway although he may be without key players Achraf Hakimi, Nayef Aguerd, Chemsdine Talbi and Zakaria El Ouahdi, who all missed their most recent 4-0 friendly win over Madagascar.
As for Norway, there is excitement among the nation as they enter their first World Cup since 1998, where they incidentally played Morocco in their only previous H2H – a 2-2 draw.
These days, the national side is filled with world-class talent like Haaland and Martin Odegaard, and they, like Morocco, will also be quietly confident that they can go far in the tournament.
BTTS has come through in five of Norway's previous six matches.
Stale Solbakken is the coach leading them there, having recently recorded a 3-1 friendly victory against Nordic neighbours Sweden without the rested Haaland.
That broke a two-game winless run, and Norway have now lost just once in 15 internationals (W12, D2).

Whispers predicts: Morocco 3-1 Norway
Norway have actually been installed as 6/5 (2.20) favourites to win, but given Morocco's superior form and higher placement in the world rankings, we are willing to back against the bookies.
Instead, Morocco to win at 23/10 (3.30) could hold excellent value, especially considering they have won 25 of their last 28 internationals (D3).
However, Norway boast plenty of firepower themselves, and we are expecting Haaland to return here after missing their previous friendly.
BTTS – Yes at 8/11 (1.73) provides a comfort blanket, while Over 3.5 goals at 47/20 (3.35) is our final punt given both teams have scored 27 goals in total across their last five internationals.
Overall, we are predicting a 3-1 Morocco victory, which can be backed at 25/1 (26.00).

> Morocco to win at 23/10 (3.30) | Likelihood: Outsider
