Today's Top Two Tips for Monza vs Udinese
Newly promoted Monza have lost their opening two matches in Serie A but will be hoping to use their home advantage this weekend against Udinese to get their first points on the board for the new season. The visitors head into this game as the slight favourites despite only managing to pick up 1pt from their first two games.
Over 2.5 Goals
If the majority of both teams' most recent fixtures are anything to go by then we could be in for a goal-fest on Friday night, excluding Udinese's goalless draw with Salernitana last time out. Each of Monxa's last six matches in all competitions have produced over 2.5 goals which obviously include their opening two league games of the season that ended in a 21- and a 4-0 defeat. Five of Udinese's last six outings have also produced over 2.5 goals, including their last away game against AC Milan which ended in a 4-2 defeat.
Both Teams to Score
We're not confident that either team will manage to keep a clean sheet in this game as Monza have conceded 6-goals in their opening two matches and Udinese have let in 4-goals. Both teams have scored in three of Monza's last four fixtures while five of Udinese's last six outings have produced goals at both ends of the pitch, adding further weight to our prediction.

Monza looking to get their first points on the board
Monza made the daunting trip to Napoli last weekend and ended up being taught a footballing lesson by their hosts. Kvaratskhelia opened the scoring for the home side in the 35th-minute and in first-half stoppage-time, Osimhen scored to make it 2-0 to Napoli. Monza needed a good start to the second half but they didn't get it and just after the hour mark, Kvaratskhelia netted his second goal of the game. Napoli wrapped things up in stoppage-time with a fourth goal from Kim, leaving Monza to lick their wounds.
Monza Predicted Lineup – Di Gregorio, Caldirola, Marlon, Birindelli, Carboni, D'Alessandro, Barberis, Sensi, Ranocchia, Caprari & Petagna
Udinese would have been looking to secure their first win of the season at home to Salernitana but the game turned out to be very tight and tense. The first half ended goalless but in stoppage-time Udinese had Perez sent-off which handed their guests the initiative in the second forty-five. Udinese managed to hold firm to secure a point in the end, leaving Salernitana the more disappointed of the two clubs at the final whistle.
Udinese Predicted Lineup – Silvestri, Masina, Becão, Lovrić, Udogie, Pereyra, Walace, Makengo, Nuytinck, Deulofeu & Success
