Ipswich vs Man City prediction: Goals expected at Portman Road
Key Stats
- At least three goals have been scored in three of Ipswich's last six outings.
- Over 2.5 goals have been produced in four of Man City's last six fixtures.
- Both teams have scored in four of Man City's last six matches in league and cup.
Correct score prediction: Ipswich 1-3 Man City
Ipswich have lost three of their last five matches in the Premier League, including two of their last three home games, and while Manchester City have been hit and miss of late, the Citizens have scored 14 goals in their last three fixtures. We're backing City to score three times against Ipswich this weekend but with the visitors only keeping two clean sheets in their last six attempts, we can see the home side scoring once as well.

Most recent H2Hs: Ipswich lead
Sunday's hosts have won three and lost two of their last five meetings with Manchester City but the Citizens won the pair's most recent head-to-head by four goals to one back in August.

Ipswich preview: A disappointing defeat in midweek
With the likes of Everton, Leicester and Wolves all losing in midweek, Ipswich had the chance to take full advantage when they played host to Brighton on Thursday night.
However, following a goalless first half, the Seagulls scored twice in the second 45 to secure a 2-0 victory and on the balance of play, it was a fair result.
Chiedozie Ogbene, Conor Chaplin, Axel Tuanzebe and Samuel Szmodics make up the four injury concerns for the Tractor Boys ahead of a tough game against Man City this weekend.
Predicted lineup: Walton (GK), O'Shea, Woolfenden, Greaves, Davis, Phillips, Cajuste, Burns, Broadhead, Delap & Hutchinson

Man City preview: Let a two-goal lead slip at Brentford
Manchester City looked to be heading to three points on the road against Brentford last time out, only for the home side to mount a late comeback.
The first half ended goalless but two goals from Phil Foden in the 66th and 78th minute looked to have won the game for Pep Guardiola's men. However, the Bees pulled a goal back in the 82nd and then equalised in stoppage time to stun the travelling City fans.
Rodri, Oscar Bobb, Ruben Dias and John Stones are expected to miss out once again this weekend due to injury.
Predicted lineup: Ortega (GK), Ake, Akanji, Gvardiol, De Bruyne, Kovacic, Silva, Foden, Nunes, Haaland & Savinho

Player to watch – Erling Haaland
Erling Haaland leads the way for Manchester City once again this season in terms of goalscoring. The Norwegian goal machine has scored 16 times in the Premier League this season and heads into Sunday's clash with Ipswich in decent form as well.

Haaland has scored three times in his last three league games for the Citizens and helped himself to a hat trick when Manchester City ran out 4-1 winners against Ipswich back in August.
The City striker has three goals in his last three outings in the Premier League
We're backing Haaland to put in another lethal display on Sunday, one that will help guide his club to all three points at Portman Road.
