Liverpool are set to take on Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday, 5 November in what looks like one of the most mouthwatering ties of the week in the Champions League.
The Reds have been sensational under Arne Slot this season and have lost just once in all competitions so far.
Bayer Leverkusen, meanwhile, haven't lived up to the standards they set for themselves last season but will be hoping that a big performance at Anfield can get them back on track.

Liverpool vs Bayer Leverkusen prediction: The Reds to keep on rolling
Key stats
- Liverpool have won all three of their Champions League matches so far this season.
- Bayer Leverkusen have won just one of their last four matches in all competitions.
- Four of Bayer Leverkusen's last six matches have produced more than two goals.
Correct score prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Bayer Leverkusen
Liverpool had to come from a goal down at the weekend to overcome Brighton at Anfield and a similar result here wouldn't shock anyone. Although Leverkusen aren't performing as well as they did last season, they are still a very dangerous outfit with world players in forward positions. If they were to blank on Tuesday it would be a huge shock.
Pre-game odds and win probability: The visitors start as favourites
- HOME: 4/6 (1.67) – 60%
- DRAW: 16/5 (4.20) – 23.8%
- AWAY: 17/5 (4.40) – 22.7%
*odds from Ladbrokes, subject to change
The Liverpool vs Bayer Leverkusen odds would have looked very different when the draw was made but Liverpool's rampant form under Arne Slot has firmed them up as the pre-match favourites. Ladbrokes have given them a 60% chance of winning this one while Bayer Leverkusen have been given just a 22.7% chance of going back to Germany with all three points.

Most recent H2Hs: Good omens for Liverpool
The last time that Liverpool played Bayer Leverkusen in a competitive fixture was back in 2005 in the Champions League round of 16. Liverpool won both legs by an aggregate score of 6-2 before going on to win the tournament in dramatic fashion against AC Milan. Current Bayer Leverkusen boss, Xabi Alonso, played for the Reds back then.
Liverpool preview: What is the ceiling under Slot?
Nobody expected Liverpool to be this good under Arne Slot but with the Reds on top of the Premier League and on maximum points in the Champions League, their fans are dreaming of a famous season under the Dutchman. Performing well in games like this one will be key to gathering the momentum they need.
Predicted lineup: Kelleher (GK), Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson – Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Jone -Salah, Diaz, Nunez

Player to watch: Mo Salah

Mo Salah is one of the three key Liverpool players whose contracts are due to expire in six months time and if Liverpool don't renew the Egyptian's contract then they will live to regret it based on how well he is still performing. The 32-year-old has scored nine goals and provided seven assists already this season and will be looking forward to taking centre stage again on Tuesday night.
