Lillestrom head into their Europa League playoff round home leg this week with their sights set on the league phase, having successfully navigated the away leg without damage.

Their qualifying campaign has not been a gruelling one, as the Kanarifugla earned entry at this stage as 2025 Norwegian Cup winners in a memorable season in which they also won promotion back to the Eliteserien.

The Albanian champions now come into the second leg with work to do, having failed to make the most of home advantage last week in their opening stalemate, but they will take confidence from the weekend, having kicked off their league title defence in style with a 3-0 home win over Tirana courtesy of goals from Ibrahim Diabate, Numan Ajetovikj and Eljon Sota.
