Lecce vs AC Milan predictions: Visitors to reign supreme
Key stats
- AC Milan were victorious in their last three clashes with Lecce.
- At least three goals were scored in seven of the last eight meetings between these sides.
- Lecce opened the scoring in seven of their last nine matches across all competitions.
Correct score prediction: Lecce 1-3 AC Milan
To be fair, Lecce are currently on a four-match unbeaten run and have lost only once in their last nine games, stretching back to the previous campaign. However, they have a poor track record against AC Milan, having lost three consecutive encounters between these sides.
Keeping in mind that AC Milan are unbeaten in their last 14 meetings with Lecce, we believe the visitors will earn their first win of the season on Friday night.

Filip Marchwinski, Gaby Jean and Balthazar Pieret are all ruled out by injury for Lecce.

AC Milan preview: Looking to return to winning ways
Milan had an opening weekend to forget as their 2-1 defeat to newly promoted Cremonese at the San Siro last Saturday added another layer of disappointment as to which direction the club is headed.
The encounter was characterised by poor finishing from the Rossoneri, who scored from only one of their six shots on target, while Cremonese netted twice from three. Massimiliano Allegri’s troops will now be eager to get back to winning ways as they make the trip to Lecce this weekend.
Rafael Leao is out with a calf injury. The Portuguese winger remains the only absentee this weekend for the visitors.
Predicted lineup: Maignan (GK), Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic, Saelemaekers, Loftus-Cheek, Modric, Fofana, Estupinan, Pulisic, Gimenez.

Player to watch: Christian Pulisic

Christian Pulisic was AC Milan's too performer last season, leading the team in both goals (11) and assists (9). The former Chelsea player has an excellent track record against Lecce, scoring four goals in the last three clashes between these sides. He will look to extend his scoring streak against Lecce to four games on Friday night.
