Frosinone are starting to look like prime relegation candidates and last week’s 1-0 loss to bottom-three rivals Sassuolo felt like a significant moment. Lazio have had troubles of their own of late and their 2-1 reverse at home to Udinese last time out was a real sickening. However, Giovanni Martusciello’s troops have still been favoured in the markets this week with bookmakers giving them a 47.6% chance of picking up all three points.

Lazio preview: First-choice keeper Provedel ruled out
Ivan Provedel is missing between the stick for Lazio at present, while Patric and Nicolo Rovella have work to do to prove their fitness ahead of the weekend. Combative midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is suspended meanwhile. Our experts have picked out Lazio centre-half Alessio Romagnoli as a defender likely to keep a clean sheet in Serie A this weekend.
Predicted lineup: Mandas – Lazzari, Gila, Romagnoli, Hysaj – Vecino, Cataldi, Alberto – Anderson, Zaccagni, Immobile

Player to watch – Christos Mandas
Young Greek keeper Christos Mandas has been a spectator for Lazio this season, though he saw one minute of action when he came on to replace first-choice stopper Ivan Provedel against Udinese last week, and the 22-year-old is set to start for the first time on Saturday.
Could Mandas’s inexperience be an issue?
Mandas joined Lazio from OFI Crete last summer as a back-up option and he has to be patient while biding his time for an opportunity to showcase his goalkeeping skills for his new employers. Frosinone’s forwards will be keen to test the untried youngsters, so don’t be surprise if the hosts operate a shoot on sight policy.
