Tottenham Hotspur and their search for a new goalkeeper has taken a new path this week.

Per reports in France, the north Londoners are now considering a move for Lucas Chevalier, who has recently fallen out of favour at Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

The French shot-stopper would be a likely replacement for current Spurs no.1, Guglielmo Vicario, as the Italian appears to be seeking a new challenge ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Chevalier is valued at around £26 million, so he could be an affordable successor should Tottenham remain a Premier League outfit amid their ongoing relegation battle.

Manchester United appear to be moving one step closer to bolstering their engine room, according to fresh reports.

The Red Devils are said to be in ‘advanced talks' to sign Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes for a deal worth around £70 million.

It is thought that the Magpies' recent exit from the Champions League has paved the way for the Brazilian's departure, with him viewed at Old Trafford as a likely replacement for the outgoing Casemiro.

The former Real Madrid star has even personally recommended that United sign his compatriot, further accelerating a transfer ahead of the summer.

Bayer Leverkusen forward Christian Kofane is attracting interest from several teams across Europe ahead of the summer transfer window, and now Arsenal appear to be the latest team to be mentioned.

According to reports, the Gunners view the in-form Cameroon talisman as an ideal fit for manager Mikel Arteta's system, but they will face stiff competition from rivals Chelsea, as well as LaLiga giants Real Madrid.

Newcastle are also thought to be preparing an offer for the 19-year-old sensation, and while it remains to be seen exactly how much he could command this off-season, some reports suggest Leverkusen would only consider in excess of £55 million.

It is also claimed that a ‘bidding war' between Arsenal, the Magpies and Madrid could ensue, meaning Kofane could even cost more than that fee.
