Manchester United and Arsenal will have to wait until next summer to sign Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi.
As the January window approaches, it would not be surprising if some of the Premier League's biggest clubs were active in the winter.
New reports have suggested that United would be interested in signing Brugge forward Tresoldi, though they will also face competition from Arsenal.
In bad news for both team, the two clubs may have to wait until the summer transfer window to sign the forward.
United have only scored 10 goals in their nine Premier League fixtures so far, and they are in desperate need of winter additions.

Chelsea goalkeeper Emi Martinez has revealed that he dislocated his finger last season in the Europa League final, adding that he needs to have surgery at some point.
The Blues have had to field Mike Penders between the posts in recent weeks after Martinez suffered a head injury against Everton on October 17.
Martinez has since revealed that he refused surgery on a dislocated finger in the summer to play at the World Cup, and has continued to play through pain.
News that he will need surgery will rightly concern Chelsea fans, and the club may benefit from delving into the transfer market for a new number one to replace the 34-year-old.

Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on Morgan Gibbs-White as they ponder a potential January move for the Nottingham Forest star.
Roberto De Zerbi's side have started to pick up form, winning each of their last three Premier League games.
However, the club have still only scored 10 goals in their opening nine league games, so it comes as no surprise to see the team linked to attackers ahead of January.
A new report from Football Insider claims that Spurs are keeping an eye on Forest star Gibbs-White, who they almost signed in 2025 for £60m.
