Stefan Ortega's time at Manchester City could come to an end in the next couple of days, with the experienced German looking for a new challenge as he enters the twilight of his career.

For the last four years, Ortega has been a solid backup goalkeeper for Pep Guardiola, but this season, he has found himself third-in-command and as a result, has not played a single minute for the club.

According to a report from Sky Germany, Ortega has interest from clubs in England, Spain and Italy, but the shot stopper is waiting for the right offer before packing his bags in Manchester.

Manchester City will not stand in his way should he formally ask the league, and with his contract set to expire in the summer, only a nominal fee will be necessary.

Jorgen Strand Larsen transfer in limbo

Earlier today, it was reported by Fabrizio Romano that Wolves had accepted a deal worth £50m from Crystal Palace for Jorgen Strand Larsen.

At the time, Romano reported that the transfer was ‘almost done', but as the day has progressed, more doubts over the potential transfer have emerged.

Alex Crook at TalkSport has thrown cold water over Romano's report, and has gone as far to say that there are now doubts emerging over the transfer and that the Eagles are yet to submit an official bid.

If Crystal Palace do end up spending £50m on the Norwegian, then it would likely spell the end of Jean-Philippe Mateta's time at Selhurst Park, with the Frenchman keen for a move away from the club this winter.

Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko is reportedly set to leave the Premier League before the transfer deadline, with Ajax in pole position to sign the 29-year-old.

Zinchenko has been made surplus to requirements at Nottingham Forest, the club he is currently on loan at, and Arsenal have no interest in keeping hold of him for the remainder of the season, either.

According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, the Ukrainian is set to fly to Amsterdam on Friday to finalise the deal before putting pen to paper on a long-term contract with the Dutch giants.

After spells at Man City, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest, Zinchenko will be remembered by English football fans for his passion for the game and versatility.
