One of Tottenham's top transfer targets this winter, Leon Goretzka, has reportedly decided that his future doesn't lie at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in a blow to Thomas Frank's hopes for the second half of the season.

According to a report in Spanish publication, Sport, the German midfielder has set his heart on a move to Barcelona in the summer, when his contract at Bayern Munich is up.

The report states that he has informed other interested parties of his desire, even though Barcelona haven't fully finalised their plans for the summer transfer window.

Goretzka's decision to decline a move to Tottenham will likely see the North London club switch their transfer strategy this winter, but a new midfielder will still be high on the agenda.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to bid €90m for Yan Diomande this winter as the Red Devils look to strengthen their options in wide areas.

Following the departure of Ruben Amorim, United are expected to revert back to using traditional wingers, and Diomande represents one of the best young wingers in world football.

According to Africafoot, the RB Leipzig winger is a top target for several clubs, including Liverpool and Man City, but United feel that they can win the race for his signature if they launch a bid this month instead of waiting until the summer.

After missing out on Antoine Semenyo, Diomande would be a welcome addition to the club's collection of wingers.

Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to sign Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba, with the Reds keen to strengthen their options in the middle of the park.

According to a report in teamTALK, Liverpool have been tracking the 22-year-old for some time and a ready to go toe-to-toe with Manchester United for his signature.

The report also states that Brighton are only willing to do a deal this month for a fee of between £80m-£87m, which could result in this transfer saga rolling on until the end of the season.

Tottenham are also said to be keen on the player, but they are behind Man Utd and Liverpool in the race to sign him.
