Manchester United are reportedly prepared to cut their losses on Jadon Sancho next summer after becoming resigned to the fact that no club in world football will offer them money for him.

Sancho's deal at Old Trafford is set to expire in the summer, but the club do have the option to trigger an automatic one-year extension if they wish. However, according to talkSPORT, the club have no intention of acting on this clause, as they would rather save on the wage bill instead.

Sancho is currently on loan at Aston Villa but has only made a handful of appearances for Unai Emery's side so far. There are even reports that the Villains are considering terminating the loan agreement early after being unimpressed with the 25-year-old.

If the Jadon Sancho saga does end next summer, then it will be the end of what will go down as one of the worst pound-for-pound signings in Premier League history, after the Red Devils paid Borussia Dortmund £73m for him in the summer of 2021.

Man City make contact with Vinicius Jr

Manchester City officials have reportedly made direct contact with Vinicius Jr in recent days with a view to securing a deal for the Brazilian winger next summer.

According to the popular IndyKaila on X, City officials have asked Vinicius Jr not to sign a new contract at Real Madrid. The 25-year-old's current deal at the Santiago Bernabeu runs until the summer of 2027, but the Cityzens want to sign him on the cheap next summer.

There have been reports about the Brazilians' dissatisfaction with the new manager, Xabi Alonso, and they publicly had words in a recent La Liga match after the player was substituted.

Although Vinicius' agent has been in contact with Real Madrid for the past couple of months negotiating a new deal, no agreement has yet been established, which will always open up the possibility of a move away. If he does elect to leave, then it appears that Man City are at the front of the queue.

Another Real Madrid player who could soon be a Premier League player is Eduardo Camavinga.

The talented Frenchman has reportedly been the subject of a €75m bid from Newcastle, who are said to be very keen on bringing him to St James' Park as early as January.

According to a report in Fichajes, Real Madrid haven't completely shut the door on the Magpies, but they want to gauge how much money they could command for the player before making a final decision.

Regardless of what they decide, Los Blancos have no interest in selling him until the end of the season, if at all, and would only sanction a move if the player pushed for the exit door at the Santiago Bernabeu.
