Arsenal are reportedly closing in on a deal for Leicester City's Jeremy Monga as the Gunners look to future-proof their squad now that they are the champions.

According to David Ornstein, Arsenal are now in direct negotiations with Leicester over a move for Monga, who is considered one of the best 16-year-olds in English football.

Ornstein has reported that Arsenal is Monga's preference, but all parties are taking extra care with the deal due to the youngster's age.
