According to the latest reports from talkSPORT, Chelsea are joining the race to sign Aston Villa’s highly-rated attacking midfielder, Morgan Rogers.
The battle to sign the 23-year-old is expected to be intense, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain all pushing to secure his services.
The report suggests that Villa, who have already secured Champions League football, will be open to a deal as they look to comply with financial regulations.
Rogers agreed a new deal with Aston Villa last November, putting pen to paper on a contract until the summer of 2031. With that in mind, Villa are looking for at least £80m for his transfer.
Marcus Rashford future uncertain

Latest reports from Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo suggest that Barcelona are reluctant to pay £26m to turn Marcus Rashford’s loan move into a permanent deal.
The La Liga champions remain in a precarious financial position, making it difficult for the club to commit to the deal – that is despite Rashford allegedly willing to take a 40% pay cut in wages.
The England international does have other options on the table, including a potential move to Aston Villa, where he flourished during a loan spell last season.
The 28-year-old also has the option of returning to Manchester United and fighting for his spot in Michael Carrick’s team.
Arsenal ready to sell Gabriel Jesus

Arsenal are already making plans for next season, and according to Caught Offside, the club are open to selling Brazil striker Gabriel Jesus.
The Gunners are hopeful of getting around £30m for the player, with AC Milan and Juventus both linked with the potential transfer.
The 29-year-old has one more year on his contract with Arsenal, and the Premier League title challengers will be looking to cash in this summer.
Jesus has only scored two Premier League goals this season, and five across all competitions, leaving the club with a desperate need to find a replacement.
