Premier League clubs continue to assess the transfer landscape ahead of the summer window, and several teams have been linked with big-money moves.
Both Manchester clubs are seemingly in the market for a midfielder, and a new name has emerged on the red side of the city, while a Midlands giant could swoop for an emerging talent.
Football Whispers takes a look at the biggest headlines of the day.

Aston Villa considering move for Ibrahim Mbaye

Aston Villa are said to be among several Premier League clubs ‘considering a move' for Paris Saint-Germain wonderkid Ibrahim Mbaye this summer.
Sky Sports only name the Midlands outfit, with the teenager keen to join a club where he will gain more regular minutes, while European football could also be a factor.
The 18-year-old striker has featured 25 times for PSG across all competitions, largely off the bench, and is thought to be one of the ‘best' up-and-coming gems in Europe.
It remains to be seen how much Mbaye would command, with the Villans likely to have to splash out in excess of £20 million.
Man City enter Sandro Tonali transfer race

Manchester City are the latest team to be linked with a move for Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali.
According to reports, Cityzens boss Pep Guardiola is thought to be keen on signing the Italy international, but face stiff competition from arch-rivals Manchester United, who have been regularly mooted with interest.
It's also claimed that Tonali is keen to make the switch back to the Serie A, but his likely £80 million asking price makes that rather unlikely, putting the likes of City and United at the front of the queue.
The 25-year-old is viewed as a potential replacement for Rodri, who has been hampered by injuries in recent seasons.
Man Utd want to seal big-money Fermin Lopez deal

Tonali isn't the only midfielder on Man Utd's shortlist, however, with reports now suggesting that Barcelona maestro Fermin Lopez is among the potential targets.
The Red Devils will be looking to revamp their engine room this summer, and it's claimed that they would be willing to pay up to £86 million to sign the Spain international.
United do face one issue, though, as Fermin doesn't appear to want to leave the Camp Nou anytime soon, with the 22-year-old now an established starter under Hansi Flick.
Either way, it's clear that a new midfielder will be arriving at Old Trafford ahead of next season, but the question still remains over exactly who.
