Chelsea are reportedly on the verge of agreeing a deal to sign Alex Scott from Bournemouth in January, with the Blues now well ahead in the race for his signature.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea are prepared to pay £90m for the Bournemouth midfielder in January, and want the deal wrapped up in advance so they can sign him on the opening day of the transfer window.

Liverpool and Real Madrid remain interested in Scott, but there is now an acceptance among rival clubs that Chelsea are likely to sign him.

After selling Enzo Fernandez for £125m at the end of the summer window, Chelsea need midfield reinforcements and have cash to burn, making a move for Scott highly likely this winter.

Lisandro Martinez has reportedly agreed personal terms with Atletico Madrid ahead of a potential January transfer.

According to North Bank Insider on X, the Man Utd defender is keen on making the move as soon as possible, and will wait until the summer when he is out of contract, if needs be.

No contact between the two clubs has been made, but Martinez's representatives reportedly thrashed out a deal with Atletico board members, while United were in Madrid for the recent Champions League clash between the two clubs.

All parties would prefer a January sale, with many United fans now done with Martinez following his needless red card against Chelsea.

Arsenal are reportedly one of four European giants keeping a close eye on AS Monaco striker Paris Brunner, ahead of a potential January move.

The 20-year-old has impressed in Ligue 1 this season, scoring six goals in eight starts, with Bayern Munich, Barcelona and PSG also weighing up a move this winter.

If Arsenal do attempt to sign the German in January, they would likely loan him back to Monaco for the remainder of the season before integrating him into the squad in the summer.

The Gunners remain in need of a striker, with Viktor Gyokeres falling out of favour this season and Kai Havertz struggling for consistency.
