Julian Alvarez is keen to return to the Premier League, and it's thought that Arsenal and Chelsea are the most likely destinations for the Argentina forward.
TEAMtalk claim that representatives of the 26-year-old have made it clear that he is prepared to leave Atletico Madrid this summer, and is open to moving back to England.
Barcelona are also interested, but it remains to be seen whether they could afford to pay in excess of £90 million for his signature.
“Alvarez's camp are talking to Arsenal and Chelsea,” shared one source, so it will be interesting to see if either London outfit follows up with a firm bid when the transfer window reopens.

Man Utd and their search for midfield reinforcements this summer has taken them to a new target.
According to talkSPORT, West Ham United star Mateus Fernandes has now emerged as a potential option for the Red Devils with the club scouting him this campaign.
The 21-year-old joined the Hammers from Southampton in a £42 million deal last summer, and will look to leave should they get relegated.
Fernandes also has other unnamed admirers in the Premier League and from across Europe, so he could well be a man in demand this summer.
Newcastle enter race for Brighton target Said El Mala
Meanwhile, Newcastle United are also mulling over a move for Cologne winger Said El Mala, who has been heavily linked with top-flight rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in recent months.
The Magpies appear to be in the market for attacking reinforcements, and it's claimed via the Daily Mail that they have been on recent scouting missions to watch the 19-year-old talent.
It's also thought that El Mala is in the profile of winger that Newcastle want to sign this summer, but they know there will be stiff competition for him.
The Germany U21 international has scored eight goals in the Bundesliga this campaign, and is expected to cost in the region of £45 million.
