LAFC preview: Tillman the only major absentee
Timothy Tillman is not expected to recover from his recent leg injury until mid-June, but is the only expected major absentee for LAFC. Otherwise, they could field the same XI that drew 2-2 at Montreal in the MLS last time out.

Club America preview: Too soon for Salas?
Patricio Salas has been out for Club America since April, and his lack of fitness may rule him out of this one. Igor Lichnovsky has been injured since August and will play no part, so the Liga MX side could start with the same XI that lost 2-0 at Toluca last time out, hoping to spark a positive reaction.

Player to watch: Denis Bouanga
Denis Bouanga was highly influential when the two sides met in February. Indeed, he scored and assisted as LAFC ran out 2-1 winners.

Bouanga has also netted in two of LAFC's last three victories, and is their top scorer in the MLS so far this season with seven goals. Nonetheless, should LAFC qualify for the Club World Cup, he is likely to have a major impact.
