Kasimpasa barely managed to maintain their top-flight status at the end of last season, as a 1-0 victory over Super Lig champions Galatasaray on the final matchday was enough to finish three points above the relegation zone.

Interestingly, the hosts have stuck with head coach Emre Belezoglu. They have secured a permanent deal for last season's top scorer Adrian Benedyczak, who was on loan from Parma. Other notable additions to the squad include Guven Yalcin from Alanyaspor, Marcus Rafferty from Degerfors, and Ayberk Karapo from Manisa.

Conversely, there have also been a few departures, most notably former Everton and Fenerbahce forward Cenk Tosun and former Aberdeen forward Habib Gueye, who scored five top-flight goals last season.

Kasimpasa are brimming with confidence ahead of their new campaign which kicks off in two weeks, as they are coming off back-to-back wins and are unbeaten in four consecutive matches.

Long-term cruciate ligament injury absentee Haris Hajradinovic remains sidelined, with the Bosnian yet to feature for the Turkish side this year.

On the other hand, Hull City earned a return to the English top flight last season after a decade-long absence. They triumphed in the Championship playoffs despite being the lowest-ranked side.

Coach Sergej Jakorovic has been busy this summer, strengthening his squad with new arrivals like Jack Butland, Matt Target, and Abu Kamara.

Although they have held on to last season's top scorer Oli McBurnie (18 goals), the visitors have lost Joe Gelhardt (15 goals) to Leeds United after the expiration of his loan deal, while Kyle Joseph (8 goals) has joined Middlesbrough for £4 million.

This will be Hull's third consecutive encounter with a Turkish side, as they defeated Konyaspor and Caykur Rizespor in their last two friendlies.

There are no new absentees for the visitors, although Eliot Matazo, who picked up a cruciate ligament injury in April, is unavailable for selection and not expected to return to action until next January.

Whispers Predicts: Kasimpasa 0-1 Hull City

At 27/20 (2.35), Kasimpasa are considered favourites by the bookies.

However, although the hosts are unbeaten in three friendlies so far, this will be their toughest challenge yet. Considering that Hull City defeated Kasimpasa in a friendly at this stadium last year, we are confident that the visitors will extend their winning streak to five matches.

Keeping in mind that both teams have been involved in their fair share of low-scoring games in recent weeks, we also fancy under 2.5 total goals at 7/10 (1.70).

Furthermore, Hull to win-to-nil landed in three of the visitors' last four outings, as well as the last encounter between these sides, and this can be backed at 16/5 (4.20).
