Juventus preview: Eyeing their third consecutive victory
A quest to return to the apex of Italian football will continue for Juventus this season, as they mark their opener at home against Parma on Sunday.
The Bianconeri did some summer business, bringing in the likes of Jonathan David to inject life into their misfiring attack and midfielders Nicolas Gonzalez and Joao Mario to add depth to their midfield ranks.
David will most likely lead the line for Igor Tudor’s side, with Francisco Conceicao and Kenan Yildiz providing support from the flanks.
In the treatment room for Juve, Nicolo Savona, Juan Cabal and Fabio Miretti are still nursing injuries.
Predicted lineup: Di Gregorio (GK), Kalulu, Bremer, Kelly, Mario, Thuram, Locatelli, Cambiaso, Conceicao, Yildiz & David.

Parma preview: A few absentees
Parma confirmed their top-flight survival with a 3-2 victory over Atalanta on the closing matchday, ensuring they will play back-to-back Serie A campaigns for the first time since 2021.
Cristian Chivu, who managed them last season, departed to take up a big challenge at his former club Inter Milan, leaving a vacuum to be filled in the dugout.
However, 30-year-old new boss Carlos Cuesta will on Sunday become the third-youngest coach to make his debut in Serie A, as the club looks to begin a remarkable era under the young Spaniard.
For this clash, Botond Balogh will play no part due to suspension, while Jacob Ondrejka and Matija Frigan are sidelined with injuries.
Predicted lineup: Suzuki (GK), Delprato, Circati, Valenti, Lovik, Bernabe, Keita, Valeri, Almqvist, Ordonez & Pellegrino.
