Internacional moved up to eighth position in Serie A following their 1-0 win over Ciuba in their last league assignment, though that was just their second victory in six attempts on home soil. The hosts are 7/4 underdogs to win due to their patchy home form and Sao Paulo will fancy their chances of leaving the Estádio Heriberto Hülse with something this week.
Sao Paulo have won five away games on the bounce, scoring 14 times along the way and the bookies have given them a 39.2% chance of adding a sixth away win to that sequence on Thursday. You can discover more of our expert predictions over on our betting tips page.
Last five H2Hs: Internacional have been dominant
Internacional won their last encounter with Sao Paulo 2-1 back in September, though Sao Paulo won three of the previous five editions of this head-to-head before that.

Player to watch – Jonathan Calleri
Powerful Argentinean striker Jonathan Calleri has been a cult hero at Sao Paulo since moving to the club in 2021 and the 30-year-old has scored north of 50 goals for O Clube da Fé over the past couple of campaigns.
Calleri is sharp in the penalty area
Jonathan Calleri scored in Sao Paulo’s 2-0 triumph over Cruzeiro in the club’s last fixture, taking his recent tally to four goals in his last seven runouts in all competitions. Calleri also managed to register when Sao Paulo last shared a pitch with Internacional in September last year and he could punish the same defence in this week’s rematch.
