Most recent H2Hs: A first meeting in 28 years
This is the first time since the late 1990s that Inter Milan and Monaco have faced off which is quite surprising given that both teams are regulars in European football. Back in 1998, the two clubs played against each other in the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup with Inter winning 3-2 on aggregate after a 3-1 win at home and 1-0 loss away from home.
