Competition is particularly intense this season at Real Madrid and certain players who may fear for their playing time are the subject of departure rumours as the winter transfer window approaches.
This is the case for Arda Guler, courted by Arsenal, who could suffer from Jude Bellingham's return from injury, but it is also and above all the case for Eduardo Camavinga. Already hampered by injuries last season, the 22-year-old midfielder has played very little at the start of the 2025-26 campaign. An ankle problem left him on the sidelines throughout the start of the campaign and he only returned to the pitch in mid-September. For a meagre record of 5 appearances and 74 minutes of play.
Whilst Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde, or even Dani Ceballos, start with a head start ahead of him in his position, the France international has been the subject of numerous departure rumours to the Premier League in recent weeks. Manchester City reportedly think of him for Rodri's succession, whilst Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle and Manchester United are also presented as his suitors, in the same way as Juventus, Bayern Munich and even according to certain sources Paris Saint-Germain. But for all his suitors, the door is closed, as Camavinga himself made known this Sunday.

Camavinga living a “waking dream” at Real Madrid
“Am I going to establish myself at Real Madrid? Yes, obviously. I am living a waking dream: I am at the best club in the world, not everyone has this chance. You have to enjoy yourself at Real Madrid, I am very happy here,” proclaimed the former Rennes player, under contract until June 2029, on Telefoot's microphone. To achieve his objective, the Frenchman hopes that injuries will finally leave him alone: “Right now frankly, I am at peace with my body. But I do not want to jinx myself”.
The intentions are therefore clear on Camavinga's side. It remains to be seen what will happen if Real Madrid were to really place him on the transfer market. A price between £51.3m and £68.4m has recently been mentioned.
