After initially starting the season in the Champions League qualifying rounds, Hearts have ended up in the league phase of the UEFA Conference League.
While this may seem like a failure on the surface, it could turn out to be a blessing as the Jammys have a much better chance of going deep in this competition than they would have had in the Champions League or Europa League.
After losing their manager and captain to Rangers in the summer, Hearts have still managed to start the season well, which is credit to the ownership, the new manager and the players who remained.
