Brann sit level on points with the Eliteserien leaders Bodo/Glimt but have played one more game than their title rivals.

This weekend, Brann make the trip to mid-table HamKam and with 14 points separating the pair ahead of kick-off, it's no surprise that the visitors are the bookmaker's pick to win the game.

HamKam vs Brann predictions: Back-to-back wins for Brann?

Key Stats

  • Brann have won five of their last six league meetings with HamKam and Saturday's hosts lost their last match 3-0, while the visitors head into this weekend's clash on the back of four wins from their last six outings.
  • The visitors have scored at least two goals in five of their last six matches but haven't kept a clean sheet in any of their last four fixtures, which is why we're backing a 2-1 win for Brann on Saturday.
  • Four of the last seven encounters between these two clubs have produced over 2.5 goals, while at least three goals have been scored in four of HamKam's last five outings as well as in five of Brann's last six fixtures.

Player to watch – Joachim Soltvedt

Brann's 28-year-old midfielder has scored four goals in eight Eliteserien appearances so far this season and we're backing the former Sarpsborg man to impress again on Saturday.

Soltvedt only made the move to Brann midway through last season and scored once in eleven starts so he has already improved in the 2024 campaign, scoring the most goals in a season since his time at Asane.

The Brann midfielder is in good goalscoring form

Soltvedt converted the all-important penalty in Brann's 2-1 win over Kristiansund in midweek and we're expecting another top performance from the midfielder this weekend.
