H Be'er-Sheva and OFI Crete meet in Romania on Thursday night as both sides prepare for their fourth Europa League league-phase fixture of the 2026-27 campaign.
The match is being played at a neutral venue because UEFA has required Israeli clubs to play their European home fixtures abroad since October 2023, following the escalation of the conflict in Gaza.

Although H Be'er-Sheva are enjoying a winning run in the domestic league, their impressive form has yet to translate into positive results in the Europa League.
Ran Kozuch's side began their campaign with a goalless draw against Dinamo Zagreb at their designated home venue, but successive defeats to AZ Alkmaar and Union Saint-Gilloise have since left them 30th in the 36-team standings, among eight clubs still searching for their first victory.
Thursday's hosts, who are competing in the Europa League for the first time since the 2020-21 season, have since returned to domestic action in impressive fashion, recording consecutive 5-2 victories that should give them confidence of turning their European fortunes around.
As for the visitors, OFI Crete make the 1,147-mile journey north in inconsistent form, having followed their opening Europa League victory with back-to-back defeats. Their recent domestic record has also been mixed, with two wins and two defeats across their last four Super League Greece fixtures.
Unlike many of the sides in the Europa League, OFI finished mid-table domestically last season and secured their place in Europe by beating PAOK in the Greek Football Cup final in May.
Their 2-0 victory over Hoffenheim in their opening league-phase fixture demonstrated that they are capable of competing at this level, and Christos Kontis's side will be eager to return to winning ways after narrow defeats to Rennes and Bayer Leverkusen.
Since losing to the German outfit at Pankritio Stadium, OFI have also suffered a Greek Cup exit, although they responded on Sunday by edging past Panetolikos to get back to winning ways.
A second European victory of the campaign could lift O Omilos as high as 12th in the standings, although they would also need several results elsewhere to go in their favour.
