Gornik Zabrze welcome Ferencvaros to Arena Zabrze on Thursday for the second leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie, with the Polish side needing to overturn a 1-0 deficit from last week's meeting in Budapest.
However, both clubs are guaranteed European football beyond this tie, with the defeated side dropping into the Conference League playoff round.
Gornik have home momentum behind them after beating Radomiak Radom 3-1 in their latest Ekstraklasa fixture, whereas Ferencvaros suffered a 2-1 friendly defeat against Real Madrid on August 8.

Gornik have been handed a realistic opportunity to make history in front of their own supporters after keeping the first leg in Budapest to a single-goal deficit.
Ferencvaros had more possession and attempts in the opening encounter, registering 15 shots compared with Gornik's 10, but only four of their efforts were on target. Gornik managed just one shot on target, although they created enough pressure in the final stages to leave the tie finely balanced.
Michal Gasparik's side responded in the best possible fashion at the weekend when they travelled to Radomiak Radom and secured a 3-1 victory.
The Polish club have already experienced the difficulty of facing stronger opposition this summer after losing 1-0 away to Fenerbahce before drawing 1-1 in the return fixture.
They therefore know that another disciplined performance could give them an opportunity to complete an unlikely comeback against Ferencvaros.
Gornik are also attempting to make their long-awaited return to the main stage of European football, and only victory would guarantee another continental tie, while progressing from this round would give the Polish side a place in the Europa League playoff round and leave them one tie away from the league phase.
Ferencvaros have considerably more recent experience of this stage of European competition and will believe that their one-goal advantage gives them the platform required to progress.
Balazs Borbely's side reached this stage after overcoming Vojvodina 5-1 on aggregate and FC Twente 4-3 on aggregate, although their domestic form has been less convincing, playing a goalless draw with Vasas and losing 4-2 away to Paks.
After the first leg win over Gornik, Ferencvaros played Real Madrid in a friendly, losing 2-1, but the match provided another competitive test before the decisive trip to Poland.
The visitors will now need to balance their desire to protect the aggregate advantage with the need to avoid allowing Gornik to establish sustained pressure.
