Player to watch – Toni Kroos

Toni Kroos' long and illustrious career will come to an end after Euro 2024 and the German legend will be hoping to end his international career just as he did his club career, by lifting the European Championship.

Kroos, 34, has 108 caps and 17 goals for his country and will be sorely missed once he hangs up his boots. Thomas Müller, İlkay Gündoğan and Manuel Neuer will also likely be playing in their final international tournament for the Germans which will bring the end of an era in the process.

Kroos is hoping for a perfect ending to an amazing career

We're expecting Kroos to play some part in the game against Greece just to get him back up to speed with his international teammate and we wouldn't be surprised to see him control the play, helping to guide Germany to victory.
